Elementary School
Introduction
Our Elementary program (Grades 1-5) is designed to ignite a lifelong love for learning. We stand out with our emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning that develops critical thinking, creativity, and empathy and encourages students to delve into their passions and explore novel ideas.
Our Elementary School adopts a standards-based curriculum that lays the groundwork for cultivating creative thinking, effective communication, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
Guided by a homeroom teacher for all subjects, students actively participate in hands-on, project-based learning fueled by their innate curiosity and individual interests. Through these projects, children delve into their passions, explore novel ideas, and formulate their theories, fostering critical and creative thinking—project-based activities immerse students in authentic learning experiences and foster connections with their environment and community.
At the heart of our dynamic learning community is a dedicated commitment to meeting the unique needs of every student within a nurturing and supportive environment and we believe students in this age range having one main teacher is the best way to achieve this. We understand that students thrive when they feel secure and content, and our focus extends beyond academic achievement to encompass the holistic development of each child. Social and emotional learning takes center stage in homeroom classes, supported by our Elementary School counseling program.
